Prompt: stray kids chan is like your lover and your sleeping and he comes in and tells you to scoot over so he can lay down, and then he holds you.
A/N: I hope you like it! I also decided to keep it gender neutral so anyone can enjoy. It's also a little short but I hope you don't mind!

The room was lit with a calm warmth the sun can only give in the early morning. The curtains were partially open - just enough so a small bit of sunlight came into the room.
When Chan softly opened the door, he was greeted with the gentle illumination of the room, and his beautiful parter still sound asleep in their bed. His lips unconsciously curled into a smile.
He walked forward, careful not to make a sound, and got a closer look at his lover.
One leg was fully out of the range of the blankets, exposed to the chilly morning air. Their hair was messy, but still looked soft. It looked endearing on them. The bedsheets were wrinkled a fair amount, and they were taking up most of the bed.
Chan gave a light chuckle and decided that no matter how cute his lover may be, he wanted to lay down. He reached for their shoulder and gently shook them.
"Babe. Hey, wake up for a sec," he whispered.
They opened their eyes, squinting due to how heavy their eyelids felt and the desire to stay asleep. Slowly but surely, they regained enough consciousness to process what was going on.
"You didn't come home last night?"
"No, late night at the studio. I actually slept in my chair," Chan responded. He rubbed the back of his neck in guilt; he knew that his partner wanted him to get rest and take better care of himself.
"Babe, you know I don't want you overworking yourself."
"I know. I just got too ahead of myself and thought I could finish another track before getting sleepy. Anyway, can you scoot over? I'm sore from that chair."
They moved to the right end of the bed, opening up the blankets for Chan to slip under them. Chan's arms, toned and strong from working out, immediately wrapped around his lover's waist and pulled them close.
He loved moments like this. This calm in the storm of his busy life. His little sliver of peace. Laying in bed with the person he loved and holding them close. They fit perfectly together. He valued moments like these so much, and he knew they did too.
He was in need of some decent rest and he couldn't imagine anything better than falling asleep to the steady breaths of his partner and birds chirping outside their window.
