My name is Delaina (duh-LANE-uh). My mom was very shy in middle school & high school, but there was a really popular girl named Delaina who always made her feel welcome & accepted. Originally, I was going to be named Monica or Rachel (NOT after Friends, I predate that lol), but when I was born, my mom decided that Delaina meant "a kind friend to all" instead of the actual meaning, & that's what she wanted for my life. As an adult, I really like my name though it was a pain as a child lol

Well I personally saw the PK POV for What You See, You Might Not Get, which made me realize that you wrote Herbs Electronics, which I ADORE & didn’t know there was a 3rd story in. So of course, I had to do a full reread of that & then read all of your other stories XD

I’ve just been generally surprised the last 48 hours or so because I’ve gotten a sudden burst of kudos and comments across a few different fics (including older ones that usually don’t get read so much) and it’s just a bit unusual.

I’m writing it regardless of if people actually want to read it but I know that this fandom seems to have very polarized views of the Caps (so much SALT this weekend about Hagelin going to the Caps) whereas I’m pretty neutral on them so I have no qualms about writing them.

Nicke let Alex pick him up in a bar in Arlington in late 2007. He let Alex convince him to move in with him in the summer of 2009, after Nicke finished his sophomore year and the Caps lost to the Penguins in the second round of the playoffs.
In the spring of 2011, Nicke graduated with a Bachelor’s in information technology, and Alex asked Nicke to marry him. In the summer of 2012, they got married in Sweden, the only one of their three communal countries where it was legal.
On June 7th, 2018, the Washington Capitals won the Stanley Cup. On July 9th, Nicke asked Alex for a divorce.
The papers were signed by the end of the summer.
