Goncharov (1973) video essay
If Adamant realized Phos is the professors's reincarnation, then this HAS to be when it happened. His reaction to the eye, falling to his knees, and saying those things have so much double meaning under this interpretation.
I really hope you're right about Adamant playing Aechmea. This chapter has be wondering if he's acting as a kind of double agent. It'd make me much happier with where his character went.
Oooooh I think you're right!! This makes so much sense if that is the moment Adamant makes that connection! Ooh, that makes me excited! I hope we're right!
And about Adamant playing Aechmea, yeah, I really really hope that's the case. It'd make me happy too.
Edit: Now I’m wondering...Did Ms. Ichikawa draw that odd cloud on the last page like that on purpose? Because it sort of reminds me of the human particles from chapter 56. Hmmmm... Interesting.
to me the idea that ritsuka is playing yuki's song is almost like forcing mafayu to see the past evolve into his present. the idea that the song is both ritsuka coming to terms in a way with what was an important part of mafayu's life and still rightfully is and see it in a way mafayu isn't ready to but also has to see. the fact of the matter is that that yuki has been plaguing the relationship because the trauma is fresh , mafayu doesn't love yuki anymore but yuki was and is still an important part of his life that he may feel guilty about. the idea of the song isn't to make , (at least for me) ritsuka 's devolpement mean nothing nor does it keep yuki as the center of attention for mafayu but states that music is something that has meaning that it will heal you because mafayu will see what was left behind unfinished and see that rituska was the hand that has been and will keep guiding him and allowing him salvation by bringing the song to completion as a gift to ease the goodbye and allow them to put to bed the guilt. idk if this makes any sense but yeah. mafayu hasn't had the chance to really say goodbye to yuki because he didn't see the passion he had but he the fact that he was jealous or maybe more angry yuki had the music because he didn't understand it then but now he does and now the song is a farewell that someone who he loves has taken the time to say i am here and you don't have to hold on to this alone. cause a death that you feel like is your fault is a horrible way to live
Thank you for sharing your pov! This is such an insightful and positive analysis and would be the most touching and best closure. I HOPE this is how it will evolve but also, I will not believe it until I see it in canon. As readers, we have the tendency to fill the blanks in the story in our minds and build our expectations on that, then we are disappointed when it doesn’t happen. I had certain expectations before (I shared them in this page) with certain points in different storylines (I still do believe that Mafuyu and Ue’s relationship has been poorly written with not much development) and I was very disappointed so I am on the "wait and see" camp ;)
Excellent review that will speak to you all.
Cinematic language carries meaning. Movies are more than just a series of events documented by a camera; the way those events are depicted – blocked, framed, edited, scored, mixed – is as important as the events themselves. When the cinematic toolbox is used well, movies can evoke feelings, make arguments, and change lives. Used poorly, though, films can say something completely contrary to what the filmmaker intends.

Rey’s Last Jedi revelation that her parents were nobodies is crucial to her development. It’s interesting not just because it breaks from the legend and dynasty-obsessed story that’s blanketed the entire Star Wars saga, but because it breaks Rey from her own obsession with destiny. Without destiny, we only have ourselves. You can come from nothing, but you can make yourself something. These are powerful and impactful statements to make in Star Wars, calling back to Yoda’s philosophical musings from The Empire Strikes Back. These revelations aren’t the ones Rey wants, but they’re what she needs, and they push her to grow and change.
The Rise of Skywalker reverses much of that. By turning Rey from a nobody into the granddaughter of the most powerful Force-user in history, it shrinks the universe and contradicts The Last Jedi’s central message, telling Rey she’s only important and powerful because she was born into an important and powerful family. It turns all her positive, hard-won self-actualisation into ominous foreshadowing for the return of the wrinkly-face sparky-finger man. And by killing off Ben Solo, the film also robs her of the companionship she desired from her nascent dyad twin – her connection with whom is one of the few elements actually carried forward from The Last Jedi.

part 1...i think that at the begging those girls believed in larry because they projected themselves in Louis. we all remember how Harry was the popular one and basically all the fandom favorited him and absolutely hated the girls he dated ever since XF. so Louis wasn't a "threat". it's like that song from billie eilish "I wish you were gay" she sings about how she wanted the guy she likes to be gay so being rejected by him would hurt less because then she wouldn't even be an option bc he is gay
art 2... which is better than be reacted because you were not his type. but then the theory got so complex and people got so out of control, stan twitter got really big and harry started to sing about sex and one night stands in HS1 and Louis got portrait as a "poor guy" because his "lover" was breaking his heart, which only got him more relatable to those larries because Harry was now showing that he did have sex, and one night only adventures and the delulus weren't "picked" for that
part 3.... so I think that even subconsciously, larries project themselves in Louis because they were those crazy girls that CHANNEL 4 made that documentary about. and it doesn't matter how much ot5s say that they are not like these girls in that damn documentary... THEY FUCKING ARE 100%. they are even jealous of each other, i was looking that video of a girl that fell in the street and was stepped on and harry helps her and directioners call her a liar solely bc harry paid attention to her
part 4.. even thought I don't agree with people following him and making crowds. that girl could've be really injured, people die in concerts bc they are stepped on, and directioners were so jealous of her that they say that she faked everything. larry was born out of a inferiority complex that ot5s have and that pushed the "poor Louis" image
