Rowena had always sought power over her life. When she was young, she had learned that sex could be used to gain power, whether that was from lying with a wealthy man or using sexual energy to power curses. It was a useful tool, if a repugnant one, but she was willing to use it if the reward was worth it. Life was often harsh and difficult. Any little thing that could be used to gain the upper hand was worth it, even if it left her feeling sick.
