It’s amazing how one of the best acted and best done scenes in any movie I’ve seen in recent memory could have come from one of the worst movies I’ve seen in recent memory.

In case you were curious, the scene in question is one that takes place between the Sheriff of Nottingham (as played by Ben Mendelsohn) and John (as played by Jamie Foxx) wherein the sheriff threatens to cause John to break some major religious laws, and John is essentially like “I will be the one to end your life so mark my face asshole”. Genuinely, the tension is so profound and the acting so good, and then...
