These Greek Chicken Burgers are a flavorful twist on the classic burger. Made with ground chicken and Mediterranean-inspired seasonings, they are juicy and delicious. The creamy yogurt sauce with cucumber and dill adds a refreshing and tangy element to these burgers.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground chicken. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled. 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped. 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped. 1 clove garlic, minced. 1 tsp dried oregano. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 4 hamburger buns. 1 cup Greek yogurt. 1/2 cucumber, grated. 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped. 1 tbsp lemon juice. 1/2 tsp olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Lettuce leaves, tomato slices, and red onion rings for garnish.
Instructions: Put crumbled feta cheese, finely chopped red onion, chopped fresh parsley, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Mix the ingredients together. Mix the ingredients together well, then use your hands to make 4 burger patties of the same size. Warm up your grill or grill pan on the stove by setting it on medium-high heat. A little oil on the grill grates or pan will keep food from sticking. Put the chicken burger patties on the grill. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until they're done all the way through and have nice grill marks. You can make the yogurt sauce while the burgers are cooking. Add the grated cucumber, fresh dill, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper to a different bowl. To make the yogurt sauce, mix it well. Put the hamburger buns on the grill and toast them for one to two minutes, or until they get a little brown. In order to make the Greek chicken burgers, put a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, then a chicken patty, tomato slices, and red onion rings. Spread a lot of the yogurt sauce that you just made over the burger toppings. Put the other half of the bun on top and serve hot. Have fun with your tasty Greek chicken burgers and yogurt sauce!
