Growing up with the justice league cartoon makes shayera really funny because in like every other incarnation her and hawkman are reincarted soul mates for hundreds of years like link and zelda but this one show said "actually her and green lantern are gonna get together" and if you're like me you still ship them and I think that's great

Oh gosh, this is a good question! It's been awhile since I went through the John/Shayera tag on AO3, but let me see...

Anything by ShiyaHawk is basically gold in my eyes, they write absolutely amazing John/Shayera fics and have a lot of them, too! A definite recommendation. the best all lack conviction is a Justice Lords John/Shayera one-shot that I adore, it's from Lords!Shayera's POV and provides a fascinating look into her mind, how she feels about Wally's death, and her clumsy attempts to comfort John about it. Very very good.

After the Kiss is pretty much exactly what it sounds like, and it's absolute fluff with just a tiny drop of angst that I love.

xffan_2000 is another writer I just generally recommend, a lot of their stuff is older ported from their archives to AO3 and there's some really good Shayera/John content in there.

The Fundamental Things Apply is a Christmas John/Shayera fic that has just the teeniest bit of angst about their potential future. Short and sweet. Merlin Missy is yet another general writer recommendation who has done some really good John/Shayer fics, my favorite of which is The Stolen Child which is a fun short chapter read and proposes an alternative to Rex's eventual existence.

Honestly in general I would recommend going to AO3 under the John/Shayera ship tag and toggling to all completed fics, there's some good stuff there even if the tag is tragically small.
