When I started watching Justice League, I never thought I would be screaming and crying over these two!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Yes, I just reached the episode with their backstory in Justice League unlimited, why do you ask?)
Absolutely insane that in the finale of the animated JL show, Starcrossed Pt 3, during the big climax, Shayera fighting to save John’s (her lover’s) life is directly paralleled by Clark fighting to save Bruce’s life.
INSANE BEHAVIOR by the creators, and I’m not complaining.
inspired by this post to draw GL and Hawkgirl in the Barbie Mugshot Meme
I like to think they were arrested because someone started another alien bar fight
I forgot how compelling the John/Shayera subplot was. They are truly rivals to lovers energy
A little kiss on the cheek
SHIP-TEMBER DAY 3: Reality swap (You're fictional, they're real)

Fic rating: T Fic pairing: Shayera Hol/John Stewart Chapter summary:
“So we have a complete unknown loose in Midway City, and whatever or whoever it is may also have a yellow power ring at its disposal.” Shayera paused. “Do we even know anything about yellow power rings?” John winced and didn’t say a word. He didn’t need to. Shayera ran a hand over her face. “Fantastic,” she muttered, before turning on her heel. “I’m going back out there.”
