If anybody is in the market for a Gregorian chant single that is now on all streaming platforms, I've got one!

I'm also working on a short album of Marian hymns in Latin that this will be on, but I need to study the notations and practice the others first, especially the solemn tones.

There is something exceptionally impressive and relaxing about Gregorian Chanting. It's haunting yet beautiful.  After doing a bit of reading about this particular song it seems to be a prayer with men asking for forgiveness from God for the violence they have committed during the crusades. They don't take pride in their violence and believe that they are acting to prevent innocents yet still abhor the killing and are begging that God will still accept them. I'm not sure how accurate that is or even understand the language they are singing but I do like the idea of men who act for the greater good but still have a conscience, they make tough decisions and act on them; all the while wishing there was a peaceful solution.

Problems Streaming

So, I love Cadfael. If you don't know it, it is an old show starring Derek Jacobi as a monk/herbalist/ex-crusader who solves crimes during the Anarchy. It is one of my favorite shows ever, ranking up there with Firefly and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Anyway, I've been watching episodes again and it is just as good as ever. But I have a small problem...

Whenever my roomies are around they are constantly streaming high-def porn and clogging the bandwidth. Now, I am certain it is all great quality porn and the like, but high-def is just too much. This is almost every night. Try a smutty novel or something.

Or, don't be shocked when I blast Cadfael's opening Gregorian chanting while you do... what you do.

update: i went on youtube to check they really were called gregorian chants (they were) and i started playing one of the songs and it's been going for idk how long whoops this is awesome music
