Is Modern Empowerment Failing Women? A Dharmic View in Kali Yuga
In this video, I share my reflection on the dignity of women in the age of Kali Yuga from a dharmic and spiritual perspective. As a woman from India, living in the West, with a role as a mother and spiritual mentor, too, I am concerned about commodification and sexualization in modern culture-the spiritual cost it takes on young women today. Drawing from Hindu philosophy, Vedic wisdom, tantra, and sadhana in calling women Shakti and the Griha Lakshmi-the spiritual heart of the home and society. This is not a rail against modern life but a call to return to dharma, self-honor, and inner strength. What does true freedom for women look like, and how do we restore dignity in culture and media?
