Celebrate Oktoberfest at home with this hearty BBQ feast featuring grilled bratwurst sausages, pork ribs, and a flavorful German-inspired BBQ sauce. The pretzel rolls and tangy coleslaw add the perfect touch to make it an unforgettable Oktoberfest party!
Ingredients: 3 lbs bratwurst sausages. 2 lbs pork ribs. 1 cup German mustard. 1/2 cup honey. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp caraway seeds. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 large cabbage, shredded. 1/2 cup mayonnaise. 2 tbsp Dijon mustard. 1 tbsp white wine vinegar. 1 tsp sugar. 1/2 tsp celery seeds. 8 pretzel rolls, sliced.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. To make the BBQ sauce, put diced garlic, honey, apple cider vinegar, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper in a bowl and mix them together. Use some of the BBQ sauce to baste the pork ribs and bratwurst sausages while they're cooking on the grill. The sausages and ribs should be cooked and nicely charred for about 15 to 20 minutes, turning them over and basting them with the sauce every now and then. To make the coleslaw, put the celery seeds, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white wine vinegar, and shreds of cabbage in a different bowl. On the grill, toast the rolls for a few minutes until they turn golden brown. Put the grilled bratwurst sausages and ribs on the pretzel rolls and top them with the sour coleslaw. Enjoy with your favorite Oktoberfest beer.
