Ground venison at Meijer stores …? Are the meat-eaters of America finally catching on … ?

I’m not ready to jump to conclusions because I can recall when Arby’s ran a venison sandwich up the flagpole a few years ago. As I recall, few customers saluted.

I bought two, just to check out the competition, which I think was about half of total sales. Maybe it was the pre-inflation $8 price (no fries, or drink). My guess is that venison is just too exotic for the average fast-food customer.

In fact, venison is much healthier than beef. It contains fewer calories and much less saturated fat.. It’s also richer in nutrients and vitamins.
