My mom just told me "No need to do any work. You're FREE now." in like that annoying angry voice and honestly? I want to saunter out the door, stay outside for 3 minutes and come back and tell her " I'm free right?"

I grew up in a very strict household. I wasn’t ever allowed to go to sleepovers and had a non-negotiable 10pm curfew until after HS. So it blows my mind that I live this life now where I travel where and as frequently as I want and my parents are cool with it(for the most part.) #growingupindian (at Jaipur, Rajasthan)
