How to use astrology to grow 🌿✨ part 1.
Intro: Knowing your birth chart is not just good for understanding your personality, but it can be used as a tool to find ways to grow and become the best version of yourself. It's important to note that no matter what placements you have in your chart, whether debilitated or harshly aspected, you can still find ways to make them work to your advantage!! It's just a matter of knowing your chart and seeing how it plays out in your life.
If you have a debilitated placement, you can still evolve that placement so that it can work to your advantage. If you have oppositions, squares or conjunctions it doesn't mean that you're stuck with bad luck for the rest of your life, it just means you have to go through trials in order to grow.
The key is HOW you look at your chart. The point of astrology is to show you that you are never just one fixed personality, there are a number of things that contribute to how you act. That's why growing and evolving is never a one-step process. And so let's begin:
The Sun
Whatever house your sun is in, you need to laser focus your attention to that area of your life, it is where you will find the most strength. Strengthing the house of your sun with help you to feel invigorated, and ready to face challenges head on.
Examples:
-if you have sun in 6th you need to build a solid routine for working out and getting stuff done. Start learning how to cook foods that make you feel good and healthy, get a gym membership, take a yoga class etc.
- If you have sun in 2nd you need to recite affirmations of self worth every morning and take an online course for financial literacy. Read books on investing and finance.
-If you have sun in 8th or 12th you need to meditate as much as you can, hone your psychic awareness, and clear any shame mentally associated with sex.
-if you have sun in 5th, take an acting class, take dance lessons. Decide to become an actor on the side, or maybe as a main thing. Do something BIG.
Whatever house your sun is in, strengthen it, as much as you possibly can. This will create an unshakable amount of growth for you.
Saturn
Saturn is definitely not an easy planet to work with. Ofc it's even harder if you have an odd or absent relationship with father figures in your life. The lesson here is to heal the psychological father wound. Maybe it's unwanted psychological habits that your father instilled in your mind so now you beat yourself up every time you fail at something, because your father figure treated you the same way. But regardless, it's about developing the internal father. One that is nurturing and warm and not cold and ruthless.
The way Saturn appears in your life can vary depending on the house and sign, but wherever Saturn is, approach that area of life with more softness and less rigidness. Be more forgiving and understanding. Be more affectionate and less violent.
Example:
-if you have saturn in gemini, be kind to yourself for not knowing certain things, and speak your truth, there are people out there that want and need to hear what you have to say. And find ways to educate yourself so you feel competent mentally. Take online courses, read as much as you can, and don't be afraid to learn new things.
-if you have saturn in virgo practice breathwork, slow down and try not to overanalyze. Maybe your father figure was hypercritical. You may be hard on yourself about details but try to look at the big picture as well.
-if you have sun-saturn aspects you may feel like your sense of self worth is only there if you put in some kind of labor or effort. But just know that you are always intrinsically valuable and you don't have to anything to prove your worthiness. You already hold value, but it's up to you to see that.
Whatever sign your saturn is in, create a softer approach to the things associated with that sign, and the house as well.
The Moon
Ah yes, the moon, the planet of emotions. A lesson to be learned is not to repress your emotions, but to express them in way that supplements your way of life without harming others (such as taking anger out on other people who didn't do anything wrong). Whatever house your moon is in can also bring a lot of fulfillment and it can create a source of deep inspiration. When you feel the most fulfilled and happy you can attract the most abundance. And supplementing your moon, aka your desire and passion, is the way to go.
Examples:
-if you have moon in 6th you probably feel the most inspired when you help people heal themselves and it may bring you happiness to do so.
-if you have moon in 3rd you may feel fulfilled just having people hear what you have to say, as you have so much information to give. Writing and making content for people may give you a lot of inspiration and happiness. Whatever it is, make your voice heard!!
-if you have moon in 11th you may want to do something big to serve mankind. Maybe something like charity work or volunteering. Or maybe you want to help a collective of people solve some kind of problem. You have big desires and maybe even a thirst for fame. Helping humanity in some way may be your emotional calling.
Create a hobby (if you haven't already) relating to the house of your moon to generate more passion in your life.
I want to write more about the other placements, but I'll continue this later probably.
