distracted—t. nott

warnings: bit of a make out.
the study session was supposed to be in your common room, but theo had convinced you to take it somewhere quieter. apparently he studies better in more secluded areas, and that’s how you found yourself tucked away in an empty, dimly lit room at the back of the castle—a small study alcove with plush chairs and the faint scent of old books lingering in the air. the only sound other then your breathing is the crackle of a nearby fire, the low light casting flickering shadows across the room.
the whole concept of this room change was to focus but the way theo keeps glancing at you from the corner of his eye has your mind racing.
“alright, explain this again.” you say, trying to get the lesson back on track, but it’s progressively harder to focus with him sitting so damn close.
she shifts slightly, lenaing in just a bit too much over the desk. his scent enveloping you, sandalwood and the faint scent of cigarettes, alerting you that he hadn’t quit like you requested.
his dark eyes locked on yours, and you could feel the heat of his gaze like a physical touch.
“i think i understand,” he said, his voice lower than usual, deliberately slow “but i can’t concentrate when you’re so close.”
you glance up, meeting his gaze while your heart skipped a beat. “i’m the one tutoring you,” you remind him.
theo’s lila, twitch into a smirk “i know,” he said, lenaing in even more, his covered knee grazing your bare one. “but all i can think about is you.”
your breath catches and you try to resist the heat that threatens to heat up your cheeks but it’s to no avail. theo’s gaze hasn’t left you all session and you can’t resist the temptation to glance down at his parted lios, watching the way his chest rises with every breath.
“stop staring,” you manage. though you’re not sure if you’re telling him or yourself.
his smirk deepens and before you can react, he places his hand on the back of your chair, effectively caging you in. his face is inches from yours now, close enough to smell his minty breath.
“you don’t want me to stop,” he murmurs, his lios almost brushing yours. “you want this as much as i do.”
you open your mouth to protest, but the words die in your throat when he leans in just a fraction more, his lios brushing against yours with a degree more pressure. the contact is light, teasing but it only makes the tension more unbearable.
“tell me to stop,” he command, his words barely a whisper against yours skin, his lips skimming your jaw.
you don’t speak—you can’t. though your hand finds his arm, gripping it tightly.
theo’s hands slide to your waist, pulling you closer as his lips return to yours.
he finally deepens the kiss, a rush of heat flowing through you as his lips move against yours with purpose. his hands roam over your back and you shiver, pulling him impossibly closer.
your chests press together, and you can feel the hard line of his body against yours, making every inch of your body ache. his tongue brushes against your bottom lip, asking for permission and when you part your lips, it’s all consuming.
theo groans in your mouth, his hand tangling in your hair as he pulls you deeper into the kiss, his body flush against yours. everything else fades away—there’s no potions homework, no awkwardness. just him, just you.
and then he pulls away, his forehead resting against yours, both of you breathless.
“now,” he murmurs with a grin “we can focus.”
theo’s lips are ghosting over your skin, teasing with the lightest touches, as if he’s savoring every second of this moment. his hands slide low on your hips, skimming the curve of your ass. you can feel the heat between you two and it only makes the ache between your legs intensify.
“focus, huh?” you whisper, the words slipping out before you can stop them. “what exactly are we focusing on?”
he chuckles darkly, his lips brushing against your neck, sending a shiver of anticipation through you. “on this,” he mutters, his hands sliding to your hips again, pressing you closer until you can feel him, hard and unyielding.
your body reacts before your brain has a chance to process, your hands sliding up to his chest, fingertips brushing against the fabric of his shirt, feeling the taut muscles beneath. you need more—more of him, more of this.
theo must sense the desperation in your touch, because his hands slide under your shirt, his fingertips grazing the smooth skin of your waist. “you want this, don’t you?” his voice is rougher, darker as if he’s holding back as much as you are.
you nod, unable to find the words as his lips trail down your throat, nipping at the sensitive skin just below your ear. he groans softly at the feel of you against him, his hands moving to the waist of your skirt, his movements confident but slow, teasing.
“tell me,” he whispers, voice gravelly as he pauses his ministrations. “tell me you want me.”
your heart races, the room spinning with the intensity of his gaze. you’re trembling, aching for him to move, to close the space between you two.
“i want you,” you breathe, the words finally tumbling out, raw and needy. “don’t stop.”
theo’s smirk returns, but this time, it’s not teasing. it’s predatory. he leans down, kissing you hard, as if sealing the deal. his tongue claims yours with a hunger that makes your knees weak. his hands are everywhere, roaming under your clothes, touching, exploring, making you dizzy.
your movements become desperate, tugging at his shirt, brushing through his hair. he stops you, pulling away just enough to meet your eyes.
“you’re sure?” he asks, voice strained, a mix of desire and caution. “i don’t want you to regret this.”
you don’t hesitate. “no regrets,” you murmur, pulling him back down to crash your lips together. it’s deep, fierce, and has you arching your body against him.
his lips trail down your neck again as he mutters, “lift your hips for me, bella.”
you do as he says without another word, and your skirt is pulled down quickly. you shiver at the air on your now bare skin along with the way he’s taking control.
each movement is with purpose now, slow and deliberate as he draws out every moment, making sure you feel every second of this—of him. his hands are firm on your thighs, guiding you to the edge of the desk, where he pulls you closer, positioning himself between your legs.
the tension in the room is unbearable, and you can’t wait anymore. you pull him back down to kiss you, urgently, desperately, fingers tangling in his hair. “please,” you whisper against his lips, not caring how desperate you sound.
theo’s smirk widens, but there’s no humor in it now, only hunger. he moves against you, teasing just enough to drive you wild, but not enough to make you snap. he’s tormenting you, and it’s almost too much to bear.
“beg for it,” he murmurs, his voice rougher than before, his breath warm against your ear. “tell me how much you want me.”
you don’t think, just act, your hands clutching his shirt tighter as you pull him closer. “please, theo,” you gasp. “i need you.”
with that, he stops teasing, his hands finally moving where you both need him. the moment is electric, your entire body alive with need. he’s slow, deliberate, but there’s no hesitation now. he’s not holding back.
you’re both lost in it, in the rhythm of your bodies, in the heat that’s been building since the moment you were alone together in this room. everything else fades, and the only thing that matters is him, and how he makes you feel.
