Several months ago I got it in to my head that I was going to draw all the FFVII monsters. Least to say, this is as far as I got.

we go from Shirtless Asshole’s pirated broadcast to being attacked by Guard Hounds so abruptly that i’m not sure it’s meant to imply the hounds were sent by Deepground, or if that’s just a common hazard around this part of the Midgar Wastes. i would have assumed the former, but the latter doesn’t seem terribly unlikely; if i recall correctly, Guard Hounds were mostly bred by Shinra for use as security, it stands to reason that in the wake of Shinra’s fall, they might have escaped and begun to overbreed out in the wastes

speaking of the Guard Hounds, i’m not a huge fan of their redesign. i think it’s the jowls they have now that kills it for me

the jowls bring them closer to looking like actually bloodhounds, while the older design had them looking vaguely feline and much sleeker, at least in my opinion

Do guard hounds shed? Or is that a special breed?

You know that meme where people draw a pokemon but imagine different breeds that might exist and how their look would change? Standard, Show, Miniature, Wild etc

Can someone do that, but with Guard Hounds?

I feel bad for both my guard hound and my wallet

Myles is coming home from his x-rays. They found no blockage in his system but noticed his liver is slightly smaller than normal. The vet said it could just be the way he is or he could have something called liver 'shunting' which means not all of his blood gets filtered properly. kinda of like a branch off thing that lets blood pass without being filtered like a fake ID e__e He's coming home, not going to be able to eat, and going back for a bunch of blood tests tomorrow. Damn, I feel bad for this dog.  He gets put through everything when he's so well behaved. She also gave a list of recommendations. The vet said all of the tests would equal $239.06. He lost half a pound since he was there last!! He only weighs 7 pounds!! Just WTF?! Rufus should really look into the breeding program an' make sure these hounds are a lil' more healthy before handin'em out.
