No, -I- did it!
‘The joys of engineering. While it may be nearly always getting your hands dirty of grease, working with metallic objects of all shapes and sizes, and machines! Lots of machines! Well… some machines don’t exactly like to be nice to you at times. A turbine, especially. But, it would’ve been much easier if I hadn’t had constant speaking at the back of him from not one, but two other Gnomes. Zixa and Bixloly… First I got called a cheeser for trying to get Zixa’s attention by shaking her, and then I got called a nincompoop for no reason whatsoever! This is BOGUS! At least my sweetums makes awesome glitter packets...’
All this seemed to run through his head as he gripped a tighter hold on the picnic blanket that covered his person, along with bits of crumbs from the chicken sandwich he had had beforehand. However, his nap was disturbed by the sudden shrieking of someones voice, causing him to awaken from his deep slumber. His eyes slowly opened to the light peeking through the covering branches of the trees, and they blinked a few times to try and shake the grogginess from them. “What...” He whispered softly, still a bit out of it before he sat up and rubbed his eyes a few times while looking to the one who had screeched out.
“Holy farts...” He whispered out, immediately jumping up to his feet, bare and touching to the grass as he ran over to the edge of the river where he could see the turbine moving with the flow of water. “Holy farts! It’s working!” He jumped up and down with a loud cheer, along with a little dance of his own that only he could hear the music too. However, it was very short lived. His sky blue eyes soon turned on Bix, hearing her say that... -she- did it. “Hey now! All you did was nag nag nag! I was the one that fixed it! Especially with -my- tools that I brought!”
The Gnome put his hands on his sides and narrowed his eyes toward her... completely unaware that actually neither of them had fixed it, not even Zixa. But, he wasn’t backing down still.
