Kimono Maker: Masashige Uenaka/ 上仲 正茂
“Mangrove forests in the distance, flock of flamingos flying in the sky, cashew nuts, animals such as savanna monkeys, and dolphins and manatees playing in the sea are depicted. Not only the natural richness of both sides, but also the masks of the marine and land tribes were drawn together to make it a symbol of people's harmony.”[1]
Obi Maker: Hattori Orimono Co., Ltd./ 服部織物
“The richness of the country is represented by this gold leaf, and the richness of nature and the sky is represented by the patina foil, which is luxuriously woven with the newly devised flower crest for Guinea-Bissau.” [1]
