THE GROUNDERS + FIRST APPEARANCES S2 | Gustus Emori Indra Lexa Fio Otan Nyko Echo
OCTAVIA FORESHADOWS BELLAMYS DEATH! 💔 I made this to reassure my feelings for it.
The grounders meet with sky people and Lexas right hand man, Gustus, poisons the cups in which Lexa and Clarke use to toast with. Gustus thinking he will do what is best for Lexa because he loves and will do anything to protect her and thinks joining with sky people is a bad idea, he poisons the cups and before Lexa drinks she has him drink first because the beverage came from sky people, which is jaspers recipe, so Gustus then seizes and starts to react from the poison and is given a antidote then leaving Lexa to believe sky people poisoned the beverage. But it was Gustus who poisoned the cups to make Lexa believe she can not trust Sky people. Lexa kills Gustus because of this.
Now in a later scene Lincoln asks how did you know it was Gustus. Bellamy says simple hed do anything to protect her. And Octavia replys "AND LOOK AT THE THANKS HE GOT".....
Gustus is dead for thinking he will do anything to protect Lexa.
BELLAMY IS DEAD for thinking Clarke would actually believe in him. He begged her and Octavia to believe in him about transcendence. He saw something and it made him feel warm and he explains this to Clarke and O and they completely ignored his beliefs. They are so use to people against them and fighting and killing they seriously could not believe something was actually greater than them. Bellamy believed in Clarke from the get go, i don't even need to list the times he took her word for it. And in the end Bellamy suffered and died knowing his loved ones were against him. But he died with HIS HEART IN THE RIGHT PLACE! So in conclusion Bellamys death was foreshadowed by his one and only sister and none of us knew it was coming. The books were better, the series was awesome, the series ending was heartbreaking and Bellamys love can hold the world up.
Look at the thanks he got.

I think it's hilarious that blarkes can't understand how jrot could hate them more than us. Besides the obvious fact that he's desperate and wants us back (Lexa/Clexa/Clexakru were the best things to ever happen to him before he screwed it up). Blarkes still don't get the biggest part: jrot doesn't want to be known for ships. And while Clexa cared about the ship (obvs) we also cared about the characters outside of their relationship. Our fandom spends a crazy amount of time discussing other(1/2)
things. We talk about Lexa and her relationships with Gustus, Anya, Indra, her people. How she was chosen as commander (before the stupid AI plot), how she united the 12 clans, the politics of the coalition, the cultures of the Grounders/12 clans. Their history with Mt Weather. We care about Clarke grieving her father in a healthy way and growing as a leader that's actually respected. Yes we liked the ship; but we love it because we saw the potential of their characters separately too.

They don’t even have the brain power to write good meta. Of course we’re superior and he hates us less lol.
The Significance of the “Not Everyone. Not You.” Scene (The 100)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73VaAC8iJns
(You can watch the scene above ^)
This was the moment.
Lexa tearing up from guilt and being scared to admit her feelings to Clarke because she remembers what happened to her last love, Costia.
Clarke being at a loss of words because ‘oh my god, Lexa cares for her??’.
How oblivious Clarke must have felt when she left the tent, having not realized Lexa’s feelings prior, but at the same time being conflicted because a) she was still heartbroken over Finn and b) Lexa still couldn’t trust her (i.e. “I can’t do that.”).
How scared and confused Lexa must have been after Clarke left, not knowing how she felt in return and if she now hated her or not (again, i.e. “I can’t do that.”).
The deep breath Lexa let out after, which she probably didn’t even realize she was holding due to her nervousness.
And even before that,
The shakiness in Lexa’s voice when she paused before saying “I can’t do that.” knowing it might ruin any chance of them getting together (it could have had the potential to damage their alliance too, though I don’t think Lexa was thinking much of that at the moment).
Clarke saying the things she knew would hit Lexa the hardest (”You felt something for Gustus. You’re still haunted by Costia. You want everyone to think you’re above it all, but I see right through you.”) because they already knew so much about each other and could easily tell what hurts the other the most.
Clarke slowly moving forward with Lexa stepping back, showing that even though Lexa was supposed to be the important, powerful Commander, Clarke had an intimidating power over her.
The quick camera glance to Lexa’s hands hitting the table she backs up into, adding to the tension and sexual tension of the scene.
Clarke refusing to back down when Lexa spits, “Get. Out.”, reinforcing the idea that Clarke brings out a weakness in Lexa that puts a damper on her power.
The hesitation Lexa gives right before confessing and the softness in her voice when she finally says it.
Both their faces when Clarke realizes what Lexa means - that she cares for her and even has feelings for her. Clarke in disbelief with Lexa blinking back tears, searching Clarke’s face for a response.
That was the moment that set off their relationship.
That made them rethink the things they had been told to believe (feelings make you weak, love is weakness, etc).
That was the moment that changed everything.
