it also had less than half the budget of tangled, and made back a higher percentage of its budget than tangled did

it also out-did a lot of more recent 2d disney movies, including: atlantis, emporer’s new groove, treasure planet, brother bear, and home on the range.

and i will remind you that emporer’s new groove did get a tv show. and princess and the frog made more than double what that movie made. (princess and the frog also barely made less than lilo and stitch which also got a tv show.)

so basically: while i see what you’re doing here, profit of the original movie cannot be the only factor that goes into it.

o.o I had no idea that was a thing. I’ve only seen like four episodes of Party Down.

Ahahah, well that’s legit! It does have a certain charm and he wouldn’t seem like Erlich without it. He’s still hella attractive either way, but boy the full beard is my own personal hell.

I had to stop reading that article because the people complaining about the show were getting stuff factually wrong (or just admitting flat out that they didn't actually watch it)

YEAH SAME it was ... embarrassingly bad. Like I felt like the article was a parody of itself. Calling Monica Gavin’s assistant, Y I K E S.

At least do your research before conducting an interview to make a point on sexism within Silicon Valley and the tech industry ... especially considering some of the participants are bringing misogynistic perspectives into their opinions. What is the aim? Sloppy and insulting.

Valid criticisms and opinions were brought up but boy was it overshadowed by just, the sloppiness.

oh its good! its one of those movies where not much really happens, its just kinda like.. a hang out movie, guys bein dudes & whatnot. but i really enjoyed it. i saw it for the first time back in may at a chicago film festival and was blown away, and have been itching to rewatch it ever since. thomas is really good in it, it was v cool to see him in a more dramatic role!!
