Based on this post I made. My new AU #Battle Nexus Master Mikey.

In this AU 2003 Mikey replaces Daimyo who decides to retire after years of directing the Battle Nexus. Daimyo believes in Mikey to bring a change to the competition, and as Mikey is the new champion, everyone agrees (minus Gyoji who instantly wishes to be sent to the afterlife)
