The Type 2 Large Flying Boat Model 12 on display at the Kanoya Aviation Base Museum
This aircraft is number 31, belonging to the Takama Naval Air Group under the Fifth Air Fleet
This Type 2 Large Flying Boat is the only surviving real aircraft in the world. It returned to Japan in 1979 and was displayed at the Ship Science Museum, but in 2004 it was donated to the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and is now on public display at Kanoya Air Base
