What's currently your favourite fanfic trope to write?

Oh that's a fantastic question! I've been really into consent stuff like dubcon/noncon/cnc (is that a trope??) because I find it fascinating to write. I've also been into "teaching sex" lately i have so many original wips with this trope nhehehehehe and hmm what else... kidnapping, if that's a trope, ough i love kidnapping i have one william million wips with it

(does my bloomington au count as a college au? i'm counting it anyway)

Addison sets down the bowl on the countertop. Her fingers are white where they press into the porcelain. "When?" "I leave in two weeks." Meredith rounds the island and leans forward on her elbows. "You're mad." "I'm not." She releases the bowl, but still won't meet Meredith's eyes. "I think it's a great opportunity. Seattle Grace has one of the best residency programs in the country."

But anyways, have a small snippet of the Villanelle fic no one asked for: 

“You. Killed. My. Neighbor.” You said through gritted teeth.

“He was going to kill you!” Villanelle fired back, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

“He was a horticulturist! He said he was going to open up a flower shop!”

“Yeah, horticulturist, he knew a lot about plants,” Villanelle rolled her eyes, and you just continued to stare at her in shock. “Meaning, he knew exactly which plants would kill you the fastest. He was putting something in the food you brought back from your… date.” She scrunched her nose in disgust as she said that.

Ayyyy now I have more work done on this one too. Maybe I’ll actually finish it soon as well.

Also like "just say you're exclusively lesbian..." [Insert Regina George meme here saying: "So you agree? Lesbians means attraction to women and enbies only"] Cause if lesbians can be attracted to men, then saying you're "exclusively lesbian" still doesn't actually exclude anybody.
