I learned my lesson in BACC Year 4. It was a quieter Winterfest in Year 5, consisting of the Cook-Underwood family as well as Winona’s new boyfriend Arnie! 

Fun fact: Hailey actually maxed her baking skill and unlocked her café while making some Winterfest cookies.

She was also pregnant with her last child at the time. 

It’s hard to imagine Winona and Arnie’s relationship as anything new since they’ve been together so long now... but that Winterfest was the first time he got to meet Wy’s entire family.

He got along really well with Basil and Darcy. Winona appreciated the effort he made to include them.

And that’s it! It was a nice, wholesome family Winterfest for BACC Year 4... Just don’t go thinking about New Year’s Eve and what happened then.

The third Winterfest in Plumbob Falls was probably my first taste of a true Plumbob Falls CHAOTIC holiday! Nineka and Callum’s quadruplets were still babies and I was barely managing to hold on to my sanity.

Little Fabe had his baby-to-toddler birthday before the big party with everyone so that helped keep things a bit... tamer.

What it looks like to have a party while also taking care of four babies.

And then at the end of the party Caeley had her toddler-to-child age up!

You’ll probably notice my lifespan was a bit shorter then... Things happened a lot quicker then than they do now. The fact that there were so few households also made things seem faster. 

So that’s a wrap on Winterfest of BACC Year 3!

The town grew quite a bit during the second year. By the time Winterfest came around again there were three more children in town and a fourth one on the way! Hailey was pregnant with Darcy! 

I actually only did one big Winterfest post for the Winterfest party that year because everything was so crazy!

It was Callum’s first holiday in Plumbob Falls. He wasn’t with Nineka yet but the sparks were definitely already there.

Jericho and Andy were also still just friends with benefits, while simultaneously raising their first child, Caeley.

Winterfest was during Will and Alaric’s turn, which is likely why I didn’t make a huge deal out of it. Even back then Will wasn’t really into the whole Winterfest cheer thing. 

Winona was always super cute though! Just look at her!

The first Winterfest in Plumbob Falls was an interesting one for sure!

Will and Andy were barely holding their relationship together at that point. They tried to make it through Winterfest for Alaric’s sake.  

Rusty, Hailey and little toddler Winona had only just moved out and formed the Cook-Underwood household. They were back to the main lot for the first time to celebrate with everyone!

The tree decorating had to happen outside because there was no room indoors.

Winona and Alaric were the only two children in town so that meant plenty of presents just for them!

Jericho was working on his mixology skill at the time so it was definitely a wild evening of drinking. Also more Will and Andy fighting. 

The first Winterfest was the first hint of a Jericho and Andy relationship. He confided in her that he wanted a baby and suggested she be his... surrogate. Will did not like that at all.

And that about sums up for Winterfest of BACC Year 1!

I feel like it might be the lack of jobs/school but my BACC sims have such horrible sleep schedules! After eating her soufflé in bed Hailey got a couple more hours of sleep but then woke up wide awake at 4AM.

So she decided to bake so that she could finally master that blasted baking skill. What else was she supposed to do? 

She’s so close to level 9 now! We will absolutely have a bakery this round! I believe in her!

(Is it horrible that I’m way more excited for the bakery than the new baby?)

Welcome to Plumbob Falls, Pop. 22!

As always, Rusty was right there next to Hailey - at least at the end of her labor when she was right about to give birth.

Hailey glared at him, torn between being angry with him and relieved that he hadn’t missed it completely.

“WHERE WERE YOU?!” she hissed through gritted teeth.

“Taking care of my plants! Guess what! We have a-” He was very rudely cut off by his very upset wife.

“Rusty! Babe!” She paused to breathe through a contraction. “I don’t give a fuck right now!” Another contraction. “Tell me the story again in the morning, okay?”

And at last it was time to spin on the spot in a flurry of bright blue and pink fireworks! 

It’s another GIRL!

Her name is Isadora Underwood, a name suggested by the wonderful @cyazurai over on my discord.

Rusty got a visitor in the middle of the night and she seemed very sad... 

I suppose Hailey’s spirit was getting stronger the closer she got to the anniversary of her death... She was finally able to make a ghostly appearance after all this time...

She didn’t dare stay for too long though, not wanting to risk scaring her husband literally to death. She missed him terribly, but the kids needed him a lot more right now.

So before morning, she was gone...

Is it possible to die of pure and utter happiness? 

Hailey was overwhelmed by so many positive moodlets brought on more or less by her cheerful trait. It was all just too much for her to handle. Seeing her whole family together and enjoying their company should’ve been harmless, except that time it wasn’t. She had a few other things going on that boosted her very playful mood...

She was completely hysterical. 

“Hails? Are you okay?” Rusty asked, glancing away from the comedy special on TV in time to see his wife collapse. “HAILS!”

“Mom!” Winona yelled.

“What’s happening?! Is she breathing?!” Darcy cried.

“Hailey? Honey? Hails... Come on, baby... Oh Watcher... Please.” Rusty begged. 

RUSTY I’M TRYING I SWEAR!! I DON’T WANT THIS EITHER! 😭😭
