Somali to Mori no Kamisama | Ep 6 | Live on with m! Let that be your punishment!
"I think Uzoi overheard our conversation last night. I've been lying to her all this time. We can never go back to the way things were."
these two man, fucking dark.
Somali to Mori no Kamisama - Review
I had 3 particular favorites during this season, I already talked about 22/7 and the other is non other that Somali!
This anime got my heart completely! The story is set in a fantastic world ruled by spirits, goblins and all manner os strange creatures. Humans are persecuted by other creatures and sell as slaves, they are also eaten by this creatures. Somali is a beautiful little girl that found herself lost in the forest, one day a Golem (a creatures who protects and maintain the balance of the forest) found her, soon Somali sees him as her father. Golems are creatures without emotions and live for around 1000 years. Golem-san life is almost ending so he decided to start a journey to find other humans a let Somali in a save place before he stop functioning.
I can describe how emotional and beautiful this story is. At the beginning is a tranquil journey, Golem being cold and taking care of Samali’s necessities and meating all kinds of people. They meet Shizuno and Yabashira, two onis that becomes their friends and goes with them. Later things get difficult and Golem-san often has to fight reducing is time, but as the story goes you can see how much he cares about Somali and that he isn’t and emotionless creature, that all that he wants is to stay with Somali forever.
The animation is pure and beautiful, the background designs are breathtaking, representing how fantastic the places they visit are. The design of the characters is incredible, so many different creatures, from cute to scary. And the music is everything!! It goes so well that got me crying in so many moments, specially in the las episode, I was a river of tears. The opening and ending were perfect!!
My final score is 10/10
Somali and the Forest Spirit Episode 6
Spoilers!!
I actually cried during this episode.....
The voice acting was phenomenal! Uzoi's voice actress really nailed the crying well. Haitora's Voice Actor was pretty great too!
I just love how oblivious Somali is (or did she understand everything?)
Schlumbergera, Haitora, rabbit foot fern, & Ledebouria socialis are finally repotted.
While I would've preferred shallower/smaller clay pots for these particular houseplants, beggars can't be choosers. At least the weight of the clay pots will make them less top heavy.
Fingers crossed that all the Schlumbergera truncatas in this repotting batch don't end up aborting their flowerbuds.
