I minor charactered too close to the sun ive been thinking about these three as a "friend" group for weeks

I had a really epic dream that was a cross between Yu-Gi-Oh and the musical Hadestown! From what i remember Joey was involved in the story as one of the background characters, as was Serenity. He was working/dueling to try and provide for her, but he became more involved in the story when he found Orpheus looking for Eurydice when she had gone missing and helped them reunite.

Then Valon and Rafael showed up and he beat the former in a fight but the latter beat him in a duel--in typical Joey fashion his opening hand was a ‘brick’ XD Joey lost some of his best cards as a result. I hope that didn’t drive him to go work in Hadestown, which in my dream was a bit more modern and kinda like Death-T... I remember some other background characters were from the Toei YGO anime, like Haiyama and Aileen Rao.
