Disappointed
So my brother i have never met from a father i never even knew i had and i were supposed to meet up tomorrow. It has been a rough few months since finding out that the man who raised me is in fact my wonderful stepfather. It still feels surreal that at 26 yrs old my life was suddenly a lie. Meeting my brother was supposed to help me know how to feel. However his car has now broken down and we can no longer meet tomorrow. I dunno how to feel anymore.

I'm so annoyed. Step-siblings are children of your parent's spouse that said spouse had before they got married to your parent. Half-siblings are the children that one of your biological parents had with the other not involved. Step-sibling and half-sibling are not interchangeable.
