flying was never a problem. * jumping was what stole the bones from my body, leaving me a shivering mess, making every step a plunge into the unknown. * I always loved the feeling of being in the air, what terrified me was the landing. how was I to control it? * and that was just it. the difference between the fee fall and flying: believing. * half the trouble, as with everything else, is believing. Is the sequel linked in the other fic in some way? At the end or as part of a series? Maybe that's the problem? If not..I dunno. XD

No but seriously like 20+ people have asked and I’m just surprised so many people can’t think to look on my page. Like when I enjoyed a fic the first thing I do is go to the author’s page to check out their other stuff.

So naturally it's all speculation but maybe Lucifer's attitude has to do with the cage. And maybe some of Sam's mind warped that in Hallucifer? He's locked up, desperate to get out, the last EP shows that. (1/2)

Yeah, I think honestly Lucifer just wants out of there, no matter what. Can you really blame him?! It’s the worst part of Hell...

I think is Sam were to trust Lucifer in letting him out, he honestly would go and defeat the Darkness, but it’s what he would do next that I think Sam worries about. Though, ironically, I think it’s then that Lucifer would be able to think more clearly and with less anger and could even be open to some compromise on not destroying the world himself. No one gives Satan a chance though :(

1.  Your perfect way to spend Christmas/holiday season/winter solstice if you could do anything at all?

hmmm probably just spending it a quiet few days at home with my mum and her close friends. it gets pretty chaotic trying to visit all my family members. I’m overdue for a christmas at home i think. mostly would consist of watching christmas specials and stuffing our faces.

2. The first album you bought?

A One Republic album, Dreaming out Loud.  

3. Your favourite place?

There’s a pond my mum and I found a few years ago in the White Mountains that is crystal clear and you can see the rocks way down at the bottom. I’d like to go back eventually.

4. What do you want Santa to bring you?

We have this 8 inch wire tree that my mum hangs jewelry off of. I could stare at it for hours because its just really pretty to look at.

YES we need to talk about the cage and about how Sam is nervous and scared, sure, but nothing indicates in the trailer that Lucifer is going to hurt him at all. :D

Sam has give absolutely no indication of being scared of Lucifer, only the cage. He only references Lucifer in saying the cage is where they keep him, which to me is just supposed to empathise what a terrifying place it is that it’s meant to house something that powerful, plus everyone knows Lucifer is supposed to be kept in the ‘worst’ part of Hell, as according to all the lore ever.

How the hell does this fandom keep forgetting that the cage is Lucifer’s prison, not his fucking pent house where he brings people to torture???

Don’t fret. The John Fan Community is a hearty one. We’ll get on a roll of having our own character-related events throughout the year. We’ll prevail, despite the negativity the majority of the fandom throws our way. :)
