Finished a necklace today! There is a slide at the top of the rhodochrosite so the piece can go on and off easily.

I got my new backpack and I love it, but I want to make patches for it from Fallout 4 - a minutemen patch, and a railroad patch (my factions) the only way I can think of making these is either embroidery (never tried it) or crossstitch.

I like the idea of crossstitch as it feels really.... homey? like a wastelander working on their own farm, joining the good fight.

But!

I've only ever tried cross stitch with the printed pattern on it, and I'm not sure if you can make it hardy like, waterproof or that?

I know tumblr has a MASSIVE crafting base so.... help?
