Here’s the Hamilton Fish House built in 1804 in a Federal style at 21 Stuyvesant Street, where Hamilton Fish was born, a future Governor of New York State in this house built by a descendent of Peter Stuyvesant also named Peter Stuyvesant. The building is currently owned by Cooper Union and is used as their president’s official residence.
