kind of prepared... You know, to buy things just to have something in stock does mean 'hamstern' in German language, like it means to squirrel something in English language. In Germany they squirrel pasta, toilet paper, beans as if there'd be no tomorrow. If you want to buy toilet paper after 10 in the morning - forget it. There are 1000s of rolls in the basements everywhere, not a single one in the supermarket. Some people are to weird. They will not shit more or less than usual, but maybe their stock of toilet paper will burn their houses, because the electrician is ill, he had to clean his ass with its own hands for he had to work and got no time to buy some toilet paper in the morning and had to clean up with whatever, before eating an apple and getting ill than, instead of repairing people's defect electricities he stays in bed and all the defects burn up all the toilet papers and the houses they are stocked in to... So, I bought 4 glasses veggie - sausages, this has to be enough... And I will not hamster or squirrel toilet paper, I promise! Stay safe and wash hands with soap and warm water!

The woman on the radio was talking about coronavirus and she was like "should people start hoarding food?" (in german we say "hamsterkäufe" which means "hamster shopping" because you're buying so much stuff , like a hamster that stuffs everything he can in his mouth) and i completely misunderstood, i turned to my mom and was like "what the hell does it have to do with that virus if i wanna buy a hamster or not?????" and my mom was like "🤨"
