Hi I’m Toria the creator and face behind Toria’s Trinkets. I am a doggy mum to Tink and have an amazing step-son who is currently at university. I have an addiction to making things from crochet to beading and onto my wirework and jewellery making. All of which stems from me using mindfulness and making/ creating to manage my pain. Life has been kind enough to deal me a few health issues in the form of hypermobility syndrome disorder (HSD), has given me the joy of becoming a meningitis survivor and left me with chronic migraines, fibromyalgia and chronic pain. However, life is for living and enjoying and designing and making beautiful items for people to use and display. I have a passion for reducing my impact on the environment and everything I make is made so that it can be reused and help make us a less disposable society. My washcloths can take the place of face wipes and my beaded baubles are designed so that they can be reused and displayed all year should you wish. Having beautiful things in your life is so important, especially when you don’t know what is around the corner. I hope this gives you an insight into who I am. On cold winter evenings, we often like to pretend we are in the South of France and it's 75 degrees and there is gentle breeze with a beach nearby...its waves gently crashing to the shore....crocheting can transport a person to other places. It's easy to get lost in the rhythmic stitchwork of a new washcloth, soap saver, or baby hat, and when we do, these crocheted goodies start piling up and overflowing their baskets. We like beachy colors, but can do these 100% cotton washcloths in a couple different stitch patterns, and in just about any color and size you'd like.
