I used to teach handstand - only the technical part. • But now I teach people handstand, show them what’s stopping them, and how to overcome them. And trust me, most of the obstacles are psychological. Technical skills are important too, but mental blocks (usually fear and lack of self confidence) are very crippling factors why people can’t get upside down. • Join me for my annual #handstandworkshop at @flexstudiohk in Hong Kong on Jun 30 (Sun) to learn how to tackle this beautiful physical expression so that you can shine and go #upsidedown from the inside. • This workshop consists of two parts: • Part 1 - The Foundations 9:30am - 12:30pm. This is suitable for every level and focuses on the conditioning, opening and strengthening of appropriate muscle groups that will prepare yourself for an efficient handstand practice. • Part 2 - Basic Hand Balancing 2-5pm. This is suitable for people who are already practicing handstand but have hit a bottle neck - how to balance without the wall or a partner. It will touch on basic hand balancing.
