Note: Seeing as I am sick as hell, I decided to go ahead and write some headcanons about how Hanji and Annie would take care of a sick s/o
Hanji Zoe
- As soon as you tell Hanji your throat feels a little scratchy, she immediately hands you cough drops and orange juice in hopes to prevent you getting sick.
- But when inevitably you get sick, she takes the day off from work to take care of you. Even if it isn’t bad at all.
- After years of being friends with Levi, she has gotten quite good at making tea. She even memorized the exact amount of honey you like in your ginger tea.
- She can’t stay away, even if it means she’ll get sick too. She’s always giving you little kisses and sharing a straw with you.
- At the point where you run out of tissues, Hanji runs to the store immediately to buy some more. She makes sure to grab the kind that won’t irritate your nose.
- She also gets a bunch of healthy snacks and more cold medicine so she will only have to leave you alone at the house once.
- She does buy a couple bars of your favorite chocolate for when you are completely healed.
- When it comes the time for you to take a shower, you don’t need her help yet she sits by the bathroom door the entire time in case you change your mind.
- In the end, you do need her help to dry yourself off and she gladly helps.
- You sniffle a lot, so she constantly makes sure that you are just sick and not crying.
- Even if you don’t want to cuddle in the hopes of not getting her sick, she completely ignores you and wraps a blanket around you while laying her head on your shoulder.
- She makes sure you have plenty of water at all times, even when you tell her it hurts when you have to get up to pee.
- On her phone, there’s an alarm for every single pill you need to take so she can make sure you won’t miss a dose.
- She spends most of her day off cuddling you and nursing you back to health and she does so over the next week, before work and once she gets home.
- When she’s not with you, she makes sure you text her every hour with updates and she still send you little messages about your pills and reminders that she loves you.
- You wake up one day, no pain, no congestion, you’re finally ok. So you rush downstairs to tell Hanji, who’s sitting on the couch watching tv.
- From behind her, you wrap your arms around her neck. She grunts and touches your arm gently and you realize she’s now the sick one.
- “I told you all those kisses were going to make you sick!
“Nah, it was worth it.”
Annie Leonhardt
- Two days before you even start feeling sick, Annie lets you know you’re gonna get a cold. Intrigued, you look at her with a puzzled expression and her only response is: I can tell.
- And just like that, you feel your nose getting stuffy and your throat getting sore. You sigh, putting down your book and going out in the garden in search of the blonde girl.
- She holds a basket close to her body while picking up a few ginger plants to make you some tea, humming a quiet melody to herself.
- Once she notices your presence, she stands up with a smirk on her lips.
- “So, was I right?” She asks, knowing damn well the answer. You nod and, instead of a sigh, you cough.
- Annie touches your hand lightly and pulls you inside the house, making sure her movements are gentle.
- She sits you on the couch and places a blanket on your lap, a pile of pillows behind your back.
- “Just pet the cats or something while I make you tea.” She says before rushing to the kitchen.
- So you just sit there, petting one of the many cats in the house as you hear a soothing melody coming from the radio in the kitchen, quickly recognizing it as the one she was humming earlier.
- You hear the water boiling in the teapot and a few seconds later, Annie comes back.
- She holds two cups and a few homemade cookies you baked together the other day.
- Once you have the teacup in hand, she pulls your blanket above her legs as she snuggles her head on your shoulder.
- You sit in silence, appreciating the delicious tea made out of the gingers you grew in your own garden.
- She takes care of you, always making sure you have water, tissues and medicine. She doesn’t leave your side until you are fully healed.
- “Thank you for taking care of me.”
“I will always take care of you. But there’s one thing.”

Look, no one hurts his friends–no one. Depending on how nasty the break-up is depends on how Eren will handle the situation. Like, he’s ready to go punch this person in the face for his friend’s honor, but will eventually calm down and opt to shield his friend from them instead.
He’s totally the type to want to cheer up his friend but goes about it in the most roundabout way. He’s trying, okay?
Definitely isn’t the best when it comes to crying, but he’d pull his friend close and rub their back before letting them know that their ex does not deserve them.

Only one thing can fix this issue: snacks.
In all seriousness, Sasha might be the most empathetic about the whole situation. She’d sit on the couch with her friend with heaping bowls of ice cream or whatever food comforts her friend the most. They’d watch dorky movies or do whatever activity that the friend wants because it’s all about cheering them up.
Sasha might not be good with watching her friend cry and would do everything in her power to get them to stop from making faces to forcefully tugging them outside of the house to do something to take their mind off of it.
If she ever sees her friend’s ex in public, Sasha would divert them with a glare. She’d usher her friend off and remind them that they are ‘smokin and can do a thousand times better.

Majority of the time, Hanji’s eccentric disposition can get overwhelming, but they are totally willing to dial it back and do their best to aid their friend in need.
Hanji can be really wise when they want to be, so they’d offer up some sage advice and let their friend know that they have people who will support them no matter what.
They may decide to take their friend out drinking with Moblit just to have a good time. If nothing else, Hanji’s energy is infectious and makes it easier for their friend to let loose and forget about their nasty break-up for even a few moments.
Even if their friend began to cry about it, Hanji would just sit down and soothingly rub their back, allowing them to get it all out. Sometimes words aren’t needed, but actions.
They’d definitely become their friend’s support pillar. Whenever they are feeling sad, Hanji is there with whatever scheme they have in mind to cheer them up (i.e. going bar hopping with Levi as a designated driver. Don’t ask how that happened).

As soon as Hanji heard their name, they immediately froze; the tone was all too familiar, and it was evident from it they were in some considerably hot water. Swallowing thickly, Hanji knew there was no way they were going to be able to hide their injury if they turned around, so instead they opted to stay turned away from you as they said your name in greeting.
“Oh, hey! How’s it going?”
You were having none of it. Growling, you grabbed Hanji’s shoulder and spun them around, eyes ablaze with both fury and concern. You had heard through the grapevine of Hanji’s injury but you had never expected them to try and hide it from you, so naturally you were concerned that it was worse than what you’d been told. As your eyes scanned over their bashful face, you couldn’t help but feel the knot in your throat grow at the sight of the eyepatch.
You felt hot tears well up behind your eyes and immediately you noticed Hanji tense. Fists clutched at your sides, it was all you could do to simply bite your tongue and refrain from punching your partner across the jaw and injuring something else.
“How could you be so…so reckless?!” you snapped, gritting your teeth as the tears begin to pool over. Hanji jolted back just a bit but then held up their hands and waved them around in the air.
“Hey, it’s okay, it’s fine, I’m–” Hanji took a step closer to you, hesitantly placing their hands on your shoulders as they tried desperately to calm your racing nerves. “It’s not a huge deal, alright? I’m alive, I’m breathing, and most importantly, I can still…do…this.”
Hanji slowly closed the distance between the two of you until there was none left, their lips melting against yours and subsequently also melting your anger away. Hanji pulled you close against their body until neither of you could discern whose heartbeat belonged to who, and you clutched tightly onto the front of their uniform as your shoulders began to shake from the overwhelming emotion.
“I was so scared,” you whispered against their lips as they slowly pulled away, knocking your forehead against theirs as you both gripped onto each other for dear life. “When I heard you’d been hurt…”
“Shhh,” Hanji hushed you, pulling you closer until your head was laying against their shoulder. “I’m here, and I’m not going anywhere, I promise.”
You could only nod your head in response, taking a deep breath in a last ditch effort to calm yourself down. You had to remind yourself that Hanji was right–they were alive, standing right here. You had to take advantage of that so long as it stood true, because one day…they might not be.
“I love you,” you murmured against their neck, inhaling the familiar scent with one final sniffle.
“I love you more, beautiful,” Hanji replied, running their fingers through your hair with a small smile.

HA, not sure if anyone will like my answers, anon! I’m being slightly humorous, slightly serious, so don’t hate me…
Hanji: Let’s go with the easiest first, right? Definitely Dr. Finklestein. Super into science (”mad” scientist, even–could it get anymore perfect?), experimenting, figuring out how things work, etc…I really don’t even have to write more for this one because it needs no more proof. I’d even say the part of Finklestein’s personality where he desires to keep Sally under lock and key is pretty spot on because that’s how Hanji treated her titans. Of course Finklestein and Hanji respectively loved Sally/the titans as well.
Erwin: Jack Skellington. Lead by weird misplaced ideals and a few selfish thoughts, both Jack and Erwin make some questionable/bad decisions that end up hurting others even though their original plan was never meant to do such a thing. Erwin also has the charm that Jack has, able to command his presence and is well-liked by everyone.
Levi: To be completely honest, I don’t feel like Levi would fit any of the main characters from TNMBC. I tried my hardest to come up with a reason he would be one of them but…they just don’t fit! I looked up side characters and decided he probably fits Grim Reaper the best because let’s be honest, Levi makes a lot of decisions about life and death and is a badass, which is generally the same kinda vibe I get from the Grim Reaper. I considered Levi as the Mayor but only because of his mood swings (seen when Levi switches into crazy-mode when his friends/loved ones are threatened) but the Mayor’s happy side is way too overbearing for what Levi would be. Maybe if the Mayor was angry/slightly apathetic, then I could see him being the Mayor, haha.
