It took 4 months but FINALLY got pics of my Hannah Alexander Nami! I made this for KaizokuCon in Ireland back in March, since it's a pirate themed con, but I didn't get to do a shoot there due to the nonstop rain. I've been trying so hard to catch up on shoots this summer, the weather has not cooperated at all but I'm doing my best!

Here’s my art nouveau Merida! The original artwork is by Hannah Alexander, and the pattern is available on makeitpink.net. Brave was my comfort movie when my mom had breast cancer, so this is one of the more special pieces in my collection. I love the way she turned out so much.

Here in Ireland it feels like the calm before the storm. . I, like many others, have very vulnerable loved ones I want to protect, and family on the front lines preparing to battle the invisible, deadly enemy. I want to make sure absolutely everything is done to help keep everyone safe ❤ . Everything has been so surreal for the past week, and it feels both wrong to post and to not post here. But I don't feel right constantly turning to my feed for escapism, comfort, a crutch of normality - if I'm only consuming content and not contributing positively.❤ .
