the moment my eyes find you in the mist,
entropies in my mind take a seat back,
you remember the time i asked you out &
instead of a fancy date,
we shared the ordered burgers.
on my terrace,
i was showing you the constellation.
but my eyes were drawing out the constellation with the
moles beneath your ears,
your eyes were gleaming.
watching the stars,
i bribed the moon to keep you distracted with his
old school hide & seek play,
so that my lips can find a way,
through the maze of your dark hair,
i kissed the stars on your back of the neck.
the moon winked at you.
i loved the way instead of moving back,
you smiled in a playful manner.
because you just experienced the moment of epiphany,
that it was all a conspiracy,
you, me, the burgers, the cold night, the stars, the moon play,
the softness of my lips tickled you to look at me.
one of the smoothest acts of deception,
where i next steal your consciousness with my tongue intoxicating yours,
i was confused if it was love or lust.
but the way my tongue devoured you,
the manner in which my hands pulled you closer,
the way my eyes were stuck at the brim of your lips,
where that soft chuckle of yours settled,
like a water globule on the edge of a leaf.
