Or in other words, your claim to fame. - Er well when I was about 9 I saw Jacqueline Wilson in Battersea Cats and Dogs home in London if that counts. I also saw David Cameron in Cornwall a few years ago surrounded by reporters and people then get into a car. (─‿‿─)

 4. Who’s your real life crush? (Because I’m noisy like that ^-^ but if you’re not comfortable answering, celebrity crush is fine too :) ) - Maybe this is weird but I don't have a crush. I am not uncomfortable and I would say if I did but I just don't. I have too many celebrity crushes to list. :D

Let’s say up front that Peter isn’t good. Peter has murdered people- both guilty and innocent people (ie Kate and company, Laura). Peter has gotten innocent people killed (ie Paige). Peter has tried to kill our protagonist(s?) as well as tried to turn at least one of our good guys into a killer as well. Peter arranged for something within Derek to forever be taken from him through killing Paige. Despite that he is currently hanging out with our crew, Peter is still absolutely a wild card who will (always) work toward furthering his own ends first through whatever means necessary, up to and including betraying those who are trusting him. Peter (most likely) has sociological/psychological issues.

I know all of that. I recognize that those are not good qualities.

I love Peter.

I love that I do not know what to expect out of Peter. I love that at any moment he could do good or bad (leaning good currently). I love his sass. I love his sarcasm. I love how protective he got over Cora. I love how he and Derek and he and Stiles interact. I love that Peter hunted down the people who decimated his family. I love that no one else on the show really knows what to make of him, either. I love that he doesn’t seem to mind that Derek killed him, or seem particularly bothered by the fact that he died and *came back from the dead like nbd*.

It certainly doesn’t hurt that he’s veryvery attractive.

I like that they are using him as an Iago parallel. I like that the idea is that he doesn’t cause any of the good guys ruin directly; he convinces the good guys to bring about their own ruin (ie, having Derek kill Paige of his own accord after Peter arranged the situation, trying to get Scott to kill his friends by manipulating the situations, trying to manipulate the situations so that he could kill Jackson for whatever reason etc).

I think the whole Derek/Paige fiasco was about Peter in the sense that Peter was probably jealous of the attention adorable little Derek got from mommy dearest (the hugely respected and powerful Talia Hale), attention that I think Peter saw as “should be mine, not Derek’s” and thus he tried to, I dunno, sully him in her eyes? But it was Talia and it didn’t work. I don’t think Peter was “never good enough” - rather I think he went about trying to get the attention/respect/power he desired in the wrong way… and he still, I think, hasn’t learned the right way.

But maybe, watching this group, this pack, pull itself together and figure it out the right way while not excluding him, Peter will learn the right way. We already sort of see a glimpse of this; Peter stood up to fight alongside Scott, rather than hiding in the shadows and letting the others duke it out like they did at the end of season 2.

So, while I don’t forgive Peter for Laura, or for Paige, or for Derek’s trauma, and I don’t think he’ll be redeemed in that sense… I think we may see him trying to recover and move on. And I think many, many people like seeing that struggle.
