Hansweek 2019 Day 2 - Dork Prince
Forgot about Hans week!! I like modern au, so here he is! I miss drawing him <3
Hans Week 2019 Day 1: Throwaway Prince
"The Jungian analyst Marion Woodman posits that unwanted or superfluous children have difficulty in becoming embodied; they remain airy, available to fate, as if no one has signed them out of the soul store." -- Hilary Mantel
Hans Week 2019 — Day 7: Freebie
Enjoy a vague Hans aesthetic/moodboard in honor of Hans Week, organized by the fabulous @princehansofthecutieisles80! Hans is not only one of my favorite characters in the entire Disney canon, but one of my favorite characters EVER. There’s a lot to be explored with him, so I’m hoping Disney feels the same way and has included him in the sequel.
I got to include two of my favorite Hans headcanons in this post, so let me explain them:
I personally believe that Hans is very interested in astronomy. Like Anna, he spent many nights alone, and thus turned to the stars and night sky to keep him company (the sky is awake...). He takes a more academic approach though and studies the stars, planets, and other celestial bodies. He feels as though he is a part of something much greater than himself, greater than his family, and that brings him comfort. I found the quote here on Tumblr and it reminded me greatly of his actions in the movie. I have a feeling that post-movie Hans would think of himself as somewhat of a black hole — but thankfully, Anna managed to escape him.
I also headcanon Hans as being a very gifted piano player. He learned from his mother, and feels connected to her when he plays.
Hans Week 2019. Horsin' around
This is my first time doing this sort of thing. This maybe based on stuff that my horse Lucas has done over the past 11 years of owning him. I hope you enjoy
Sharing is Caring.
Most days Hans was trying to figure out any possible way to avoid his 12 older brothers. Staying in his room wasnt an option. The twins would throw things at the door to piss him off. He would try to go to the study. Lars the closest brother his age. Would make fake farting sounds. Which after about 5 minutes Hans would get annoyed to the point to where he would walk out. Even when he would try to go to the bathroom his brothers would always leave a "surprise" floating in the toilet.
Hans eventually figured out the only place he would be left alone was in the stables. Mainly hiding in Sitron's stall. It wasnt so bad after all. The stalls were always well cleaned and maintained. And their was always more than enough hay for Hans to sit on and Sitron would still have enough to eat.
One day Hans was getting fed up with his brothers doing what ever they could to make his life miserable for the day. Today it was throwing their food at Hans. It's amazing what can be pulled out of a sandwich to fling at some one. Hans quickly found his out while his brothers were getting lectured by their mother for their lack of manners and ettique and how they are an embarrassment to the Westergaard name. This always amused Hans because as the baby of the family mother would over look him and give him a loving expression. Which would lead to his brothers calling him a mama's boy.
Hans went to the one place he knew no one would find him. That would be Sitron's stall. He made sure to bring an apple for Sitron and a molasses cookie; those here his favorite. And Hans brought his peanut butter sandwich with so he could finally eat in peace. He sat down on the hay. And watched Sitron nibble at his treats. It always amazed Hans how gently Sitron would take any thing from his hand. Most horses he knew would be so eager to get the treat in their mouth that they would take a finger off in the process. Hans took a deep breath and rested his back on the stall. He took a couple bits of his sandwich and admired the horse in front of him. Sitron was so much more than a horse. He was his companion, his best friend that he can share the burdens of life with and find comfort in his lonely world. Sitron started to come over by Hans and sniff his sandwich. Hans got curious and offered a little bit of his sandwich. Sitron was never one to turn down food. He took the piece in his mouth and smacked his lips trying to figure out if he liked the taste or not. He eventually spitted it out. Hans couldnt help but laugh. He loved his horse's pearsonality. Very loyal, friendly, loving and spirited. He was quickly taken out of his thoughts when he heard a sudden noise. He turned his head quickly. And while Hans was distracted Sitron decided that Hans' sandwich was pretty good after all and took a big hunk out of it. Hans quickly looked back and realized what had happened. He was left with 1/4 of his sandwich! And Sitron seemed to be enjoying his new found favorite treat. Hans could help but start laughing. This horse was a horse of a life time. If he had to sacrifice his sandwich he figured it was the least he could do for Sitron. He has given Hans more than he will ever realize.
This is dedicated to my boy Lucas <3 I'll always love you more than you will ever know.
