So this past month I've been researching mythology as I'm currently working on a epic the music animatic of six hundred strike, but in the future I wanted to attempt god games, but include small details about each god in the back ground.
So I was scrolling on Pinterest and saw someone mentioned that Athena had adopted and raised a child, so naturally I was interested and wanted to research the child. Athena had adopted Erichthonis, a half snake half human creature, which I thought was sweet, until I found out about his origin.....
Apparently Haphaestus has attempted to rape Athena, but he failed his semen fell onto the earth Gaia or Athena's thigh (idk, which it is, goggle leans more to Gaia) and that how the child was born. I thought Haphaestus had no kids, turns out he has multiple and I now understand Persephone's affairs.
I was planning to give them a cute sibling relationship because in mythology Haphaestus was born out of Hera's rage from the birth of Athena, so I thought they grew up together. 🥲
I hate and love mythology, I don't wanna know how bad it gets in Egypt and Aztec mythology.
