Birthday Surprise

Summary : It was Yoongi’s birthday but he didn't want to celebrate the important day. You had other ideas so you set up a cute surprise for your boyfriend. This is his reaction.
Author Note : HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY POUTY BABY!! I love Yoongi so much and I can't believe he is now 25. I'm so proud of all the things he has accomplished and I wish he has happiness always. I made this in honor of our hardworking man. Hopefully, you like it; please appreciate him and love him.
You always loved celebrating birthdays it was an opportunity to celebrate someone's life. Your favourite birthdays to celebrate is your boyfriends Yoongi’s. Yoongi is the most important person in your life so when you had a chance to celebrate him being here another year with you, of course, you loved celebrating that.
Unfortunately, you knew Yoongi’s perception on birthdays was different from yours. He thought birthday as another regular day so when he warned you that he didn't want to celebrate the important event you were disappointed. Although he told you he didn't want a birthday you seem to recall the last birthday you organized for him when you invited his closest friends and family to your shared apartment for a small celebration and you have never seen him happier since that day.
So you decided not follow his instruction because you hardly ever listened to his instructions so why should you now?
Yoongi was working on his birthday so that gave you the opportunity to get everything organized. In the morning you made him breakfast just like any other day and pretended you were following his instructions on treating it like his birthday was nothing. Little did he know..
After he left for work it was time for you to get everything ready. You planned to have a quiet birthday night with just you and him. You remember him telling you that he cherished the moments when you two were alone compared to anything else. Your plan was to design a cute fort in the living room so when he comes home you can cuddle and celebrate his birthday with intimacy.
You traveled through all the stores trying to get all the equipment that you needed and now it was building time. As a kid, you used to be a master at building forts so this was something you knew you could do well at.
Hours pass and finally, you have completed your mission. You look to see the final product and you aw at your creation. White bed sheets were situated in a shape of a cave and surrounding the room was cute fairy lights. Your laptop was in the center of your little bedsheet fort with snacks on the side. Everything looked so aesthetic and adorable you were so happy with it.
Ring. Ring.
”Hello?” you pick up the phone immediately knowing who it is.
”He just left right now,” Namjoon said, you needed a spy to make sure your plan would go well and you knew Namjoon would be the perfect culprit.
”Thank you so much joonie, how has he been?” you ask curiously.
”he has been his usual self, you know how he is on his birthday” Namjoon stated, even hearing about Yoongi made you smile brightly.
”hopefully you have been treating him well” you warn.
”of course! The boys and I gave him his presents and treated him like a king” Namjoon laughed which made you laugh with him.
”I'm glad to hear, I better go through. He could arrive at any moment” you said.
”Okay, I hope he likes the surprise” Namjoon states and you giggle. You have always had a good relationship with his friends. You were happy that you could connect with his friends and he connect with yours.
You hung up the phone and waited anxiously for his arrival. ”y/n?” you heard a faint voice being heard from the entrance. You jump up from the couch and run towards him in excitement greeting him with a hug.
”Hello idiot,” you said, you couldn't contain your excitement.
”why are you so jumpy?” he asks curiously, he knows that you were usually a calm character similar to him so he was suspicious why you changed so suddenly.
”it's your birthday! And you know how you told me you didn't want to celebrate the special day. Well... I couldn't help but set up something nice for you” you say shyly admit as you fiddled with the bracelet he gifted to you on your anniversary.
”why am I not surprised” he chucked showing his gummy smile as he shook his head. You smiled brightly as you covered his eyes. ”y/n I'm blind! Help I can't see!” he said in a panic which resulted in you rolling your eyes.
”shut up or I will make you permanently blind,” you said as you lead him into the living room. You lifted your hands away from his soft face and his face light up as he saw what you made in honour of him.
”This is so adorable” he gushed and he turned and kissed you on the cheek. You giggle and his cute gesture. ”did you do this by yourself?” he asked, he held your hips in his hand as he stared at you with admiration.
”Yup, I've been working on it all day” you smile proudly, he leans in and kissed you passionately on the lips. His lips were warm and soft, they perfectly mold with yours.
”I love you,” Yoongi said, you blushed at his words. It's not often you say the words, normally you and Yoongi would show each other your love than say the words.
”I love you too” you admit and kiss his cheek. ”I made the famous D boy into a baby boy” you tease resulting in him laughing.
All night consisted of cuddling, watching movies and talking about different thing. You were so happy to see him like this, you loved when Yoongi felt comfortable around you.
”I have a present for you,” you said after the movie was finished. He looks at you curiously as you pulled out a cuboid box.
”y/n I don't need presents” he whines while he uses his cutest pout and you giggle.
”stop being stubborn and just open it” you roll your eyes and he smirks. He opened the nicely wrapped present and his face looked confused as he held the CD. ”it's a mixtape. It contains all the songs that have been significant in our relationship. You know that song that was playing in the background of our first meeting? If you don't that's okay because it's on the mixtape and the song by Kanye West we played consistently for 2 months straight that's on there too. All the songs that have been played on special memories of our time together are in that mixtape so if you want to be reminded of me well.. there you go” you smile explaining the gift.
Music has always been a big part of yours and Yoongi’s life. He is a musician and you have a love for music and together the most precious moments in your relationship is when music is involved.
”did I mention I love you?” he asked and you giggled, you pulled the mixtape from his hand and began to play the songs. You traveler to his lap and began to kiss him.
”Happy birthday” you smiled seductively.
Let's just say you had a struggle moving the next day.
