One of the things I’ve had to do in losing weight was to convince myself and remind myself and re-remind myself and re-re-remind myself etc... that rewards, ‘cause I work well on the ‘small carrot’ system, DO NOT NEED TO BE FOOD. New nail wraps or make-up, a new/used book or starting one I’ve been hoarding for a special time ‘cause I really-really want to read it, trip to the thrift store, spending more than my $10/trip budget while there, a movie I’ve been waiting to watch... I ‘deprive’ myself of some small simple pleasures so they are worth it when I do reach a goal or need a pick-me-up @daysend_photography thinks I’m a bit nuts on some of it... cookies and chocolate are his weakness so he eats them in a day or 2 and I (don’t like chocolate so that’s easy) still have candy from 2 Halloween’s ago sitting in my closet, chips from 6 months ago (period emergency supplies!) sitting around, I do have 2 oatmeal cookies a night, with my #puerh #tea in the evening. Once I make a decision I’ve made it. I have decided I’m not going in the ground in a widened casket... I want to be free to breathe and move and do -all- the positions while still here with my also getting skinny sexy hubby (tmi? Too bad...), but there is also no rush... this body was not built in a day, nor will it be reconstructed in a week, month, year even... Slow-Steady-Safe and Supported. Today’s treat was new slippers, smaller shoe size, my old ones are all stretched out.
