I think Hardcore Henry, and the rest of Ilya Naishuller’s works by proxy, but mainly Hardcore Henry has gotta be the thing I’m most autistic about. Any day of any year I will gladly go on a long winded unreasonably long rant about it I swear to god. Give me an opportunity to and I will fucking GO. If anyone ever reads this who’s into me, that’s like, the number one way to get me to do literally whatever you want by the way. Engage with me on this subject and I will do ANYTHING for you I swear to god. I know every fun fact, all the production intricacies, all the dev notes, I know it all. Every little itty bitty thing. I am absolutely insufferable on the topic. And as soon as I can afford it, Imma get Henry’s arm tattoo as well as the Akan Inc. logo on the back of my hand. God I love this flick.
Shoutout to movie vinyls that feature music by super underrated bands so you can still have at least some of their music on vinyl. (Right now I’m specifically talking about the Hardcore Henry vinyl since it gives me three of my favorite songs by Bitings Elbows that aren’t otherwise available in the medium)
