I am halfway through "Emma" by Jane Austen and I cant help but think of Mr. Woodhouse at the midst of this pandemic!!! He has self quarantined at least one month before the official shutdown, he washes his hands every half an hour for at 60 seconds and has made Emma do it too(!) and I am 99% sure that he doesn't let Emma go out of the house with at least mask and gloves, if not a hazmat suit!!! He of course has not been out of Hartfield since February. And Emma is so done with his antics and the fact that he doesn't let her quarantine with Harriet....
