Was rooting through some of my old animations and found this, I completely forgot I did the thing, but this is from about a year or so ago (I checked. it was 2021.. that.. yeah. a bit longer than I thought-).
Anyway. This is the scene from part 4 volume 9- (I think?) it's a depiction of Rozemyne giving Ferdinand a feystone charm before he leaves, and the subequent inspection (and judgement) he gives it.
Hartmut's Name Swearing Ceremony
My entry for the fall Honzuki Exchange. My entry is for @salmalin who loves Hartmut. His name swearing ceremony is fun to imagine.
Apparently his expressions of absolute bliss terrified poor Myne, and she was on the verge of tears throughout it 🤣
Hope you like it!

The jump from
"This may be Lady Elvira’s request, but... my own mother, serving someone of such low status?
I was overcome by displeasure."
To
"it was obvious why the aub would want her in the archducal family. His tales of her saintly deeds were even more wonderful. I wanted—no, needed—to hear more of them."
Is always amusing, boy got blessed once and became obsessed.
Praise be to the new Aub Alexandria!
A little sword weilding, clad in armour, high priest and archscholar ready to bring on winter
Niels is so funny, sweet and chaotic, you just gotta love him :D <3
(also, jumping Erdogan kills me :D :D)

Watched the first episode of Apothecary Diaries this week and it’s been fun. I like the no-nonsense tone of the main character, some of the creative use of her knowledge and of course the yes, step-on-me dynamic between her and Jinshi.
However, the beautiful, shiny, colorful detail of the animation is making me jealous for what we could have had for Ascendance of a Bookworm. Imagine the glint there could have been on the books!
So, here’s my compromise - we keep getting episodes of Bookworm with the same just fine animation for part three. Flat colors, okay linework.
And then when we get to part 4, start it the same until Hartmut shows up. Then I want the full Hartmut Filter - animation kicks in overdrive with saturated colors, dynamic lines, the full sparkle to every single blessing. Her practice dedication whirl going hard, with enough gleam to spike love into the heart of a Dunkelfelger man. Let’s do this.
