Fall festival in LOTRO
Enjoying the Halloween celebration and quests in Lord of the Rings Online. The bulk of the Harvestmath/Fall Festival quests take place in the Shire, and I've been having fun apple bobbing, doing tricks, exploring the Haunted Burrow and rescuing scared hobbits in it, questing in the very creepy and atmospheric festival area of Wistmead, etc. There's also a main narrative questline that I genuinely love. It's chilling and fascinating.
Right now, though, I'd like to bring your attention to Fosco Boffin and his festival outfit.
It looks like he's cut the arse out of his pants and replaced it with mesh/fishnets. More of a Pride Parade outfit than something you'd expect to see at the Party Tree.
I guess we're going to very different Halloween parties. 😆
Children laugh amongst twisted trees, and a wheat maze teeming with crows beckons the brave-hearted to a game. Even the mirth of the harvest season carries an unsettling edge, as if some ancient magic stirs within the shadows.
— Happy Harvest, mellyn nin!

An assortment of Harvestmath fashion.
And finally I have mapped out LOTRO Wheat Maze #1! I was able to obtain the deed “The Wistmead Wheat Maze” and title of “Maze-Master” as this was the last maze I needed to complete to finish up!
Hobbiton Soup Season, Halloween Edition!
My Hobbit in her witch costume, with her ghostly cat. ❤️ Pumpkins abound in the Shire, decorating the place for Harvestmath. But hobbits aren't keen on wasting food, so I imagine this happens in the evenings.
This was a delicious autumn harvest soup. Roasted butternut pumpkin, sweet potato, potato and carrot, with plenty of garlic, herbs, nutmeg and paprika, garnished with cream and parsley. We enjoyed it with some wheat-and-rye sourdough.
Happy Halloween!
I’m so glad the game let me rename my cat this.
