Double digits! Today's fish is the Longnose Hawkfish and despite what its name might leave you to believe, it isn't affiliated with Stampy Cat.
They are one of the few monogamous fish [like angelfish] and they are pelagic spawners which means they spawn near the surface of the ocean. Some eggs will get eaten/won't hatch but they lay many thousands for the species to survive.
They're often kept in aquariums as they're only found 10-100m below sea level, and they can grow up to 13cm [5 inches] long. They’re also the only known member of their genus - 'Oxycirrhites' - which means sharp 'Cirrhitidae' - their family.
