Virginity loss/First time prompt

"Why didn't you tell me?". Effie exclaims and climbs off his lap. "We have to do this properly, Haymitch!".

She has pulled her skirt back into place and is already making her way upstairs. "Where do you have your candles?".

"Candles?". Haymitch has yet to collect himself. Still dumbfounded on the couch with his stained pants and bright red face of embarrassment.

"It's your first time! It's my responsibility to make it special!".

"Say it a bit louder! I don't think the fish in district 4 heard you!". He is not sure she heard him, already upstairs searching for the damn candles.

Hayffie week day three: Grandparents Hayffie

I can’t really see them having any children of their own aside from Peeta and Katniss but they would spoil their grandchildren at any chance they get.

Hayffie week day seven: Them being goofy/crack

The only time I could imagine them really goofy was getting drunk with their friends/ the other victors. I imagine some of the victors really being like a family like protecting the younger ones (Finnick, Annie) or Mags being the mum of the group and the ones that were the same age would be acting like siblings (like Chaff and Haymitch)they‘ll go out, get drunk, play games, have sleepovers stuff like that u know. Effie‘s an honorary member cause she‘s the only reason Haymitch‘s leaving the apartment.

Hayffie week starts tomorrow and with that my story will be published!

Aka Haymitch is losing the v-card to our favorite Capitol citizen. It will take place 10 years after Sunrise on reaping, aka the days before the 60th Hunger games

In between the nightmares and all his drinking, Haymitch thought of that kiss throughout the next year. He had doubts about whether it was real. If she enjoyed it. Or if she simply tried to get the drunk man out as fast as possible.

Nonetheless, he found himself dreaming of that gloss. Licking his lips as if he could still taste it

Hayffie week day one: Holiday Hayffie

There aren‘t alot of Holidays they have that aren‘t releated to the Hunger Games but New Years was mentioned one or two times so I used that.

I‘m pretty sure that every year Effie would somehow successfully persuade Haymitch to accompany her to what feels like a million differnt partys but they never stay till midnight because the fireworks remind them of the sound you here when another tribute dies, especially Haymitch because he has to think of his Games. So they withdraw to the appartement with a bottle champagner and play card games till the morning like poker (or strip poker, probably the later one though I mean it‘s them) and try to ignore the outside world.

And I btw decided to go with the art promts cause they fit the best for moodboards.

In honour of the planned Hayffie week an angsty Moodboard

Keep in mind it was intended as the „why do you act like you don‘t care“, „you’re the only thing keeping me alive“ and „what if Snow finds out“ kind of Hayffie

If anyone disagrees with the „star-crossed lovers“ thingy, that’s totally alright but think about what would have happened if Snow found out?

He captured and tortured Effie, just because she might have known something. To what extent would those things have gone if he knew that one of the rebels was in love with Effie?

Just think about it before you hate it. 🫶🏼

On a different note, I am certain that they fought about how Haymitch seemingly doesn’t care about the tributes and how Effie cares to much. If they were a couple or not but those fights happened, I‘m certain.
