His work is super fast paced and there’s always some sort of deadline around the corner so he’s always working non-stop so he’s always drained when he gets home
The minute he gets home he just kicks off his shoes in an uncharacteristically careless manner and drops his coat and bag somewhere on the couch
Afterwards he’d make a beeline to your shared bedroom and practically fall into your arms

You’d spend the rest of the night like this, as you both tell each other about your day

Tsukishima loves his job, absolutely loves it
No matter how many times he pretends to dread leaving the apartment and head to the museum, you both know that he revels being there
But it can still drain the hell out of him
During particularly hectic days, he’d arrive home a few hours later than usual but asides from that he’d seem perfectly normal
However once he crawled into bed with you, he’d sit a bit closer than usual, and the book he’d always read before bed would be laid forgotten on the bedside table
Tsukishima is human, he needs cuddles just like the rest of us but he is Tsukki so he would never admit it out loud no matter how much he wants it
He’ll always wait for you to initiate and whenever you pick up his usual cues and ask if he wants to cuddle he’ll act as if it was your idea and tease you

He’s a strong dude but he can only take so much
He’ll come home with his arms and legs aching and all he wants is to get into bed

He’d be on his back and you’d be lying on top of him, you face tucked into the crook of his neck as you tell him about your day as he gently caresses your hair
He is so warm and toasty, he’s like a living heater, so you always fall asleep like this especially on cold days but Aone isn’t complaining

And with the pure chaos that occurs everyday with Bokuto, Hinata, Atsumu, Kageyama and the others, it’s no wonder he always comes home practically half dead
After a particularly tiring day of training, the only thing he wants is some hayashi rice and a whole lot of cuddles

After showering and changing into his pajamas he wears pajamas, fight me he’d crawl into bed and immediately turn over so that he’s facing you
He didn’t have to say anything to let you know how drained he was, you’d just put down your phone or whatever and inch towards him, positioning yourself in between his open arms
Spooning is a must with Ushijima, he loves the feelings of being able to encase you in his arms, you snug against him
While cuddling, he’ll tell you about whatever mayhem occurred that day with the team
He especially likes how you fiddle with his large hands as he spoke, your softer fingers brushing past the red and calloused skin, it was like your touch was healing the raw skin

BBY GETS SO STRESSED WITH HIS DEADLINES
He always stays overtime, creating design after design until he gets it just right
He sets really high standards for himself so he has the tendency to stress himself out and overwork himself
But whenever he’s with you his anxiousness and worry would dissipate before him, you’re like a walking stress reliever for him
He’d practically collapse on your bed when he gets home, immediately telling you all about how bad of a day he had at work
He’d be rambling on and on as he changes and does his nightly routine, it’s actually a really funny sight
But once he gets into bed and you snuggle up against his back, he’d immediately forget all about his previous woes and worries

He relishes in the feeling of being wrapped in someone’s arms, he feels so safe and contented
Tho you most likely would have a hard time actually wrapping him in your arms but you try your best and he loves it regardless
