Liam took the opportunity to pull his father a short distance away. “What did you do?” He snapped.

“What do you mean?” Constantine feigned innocence.

“I can see it written all over your face….” Liam regarded him carefully. “You did — something.”

“Well, I… May have set up a small surprise for you and Kyla…” Constantine trailed off in a high-pitched voice, his vision locked on the ground.

“What? What does that mean?”

“Well, it wouldn't be much of a surprise if I told you, now would it? Even kings must have patience, my boy.”

“Holy shit…” Drake gasped as he took in their surroundings. “How did we never find this?”

“I have no idea… I think the better question is, how did someone else find it?”

“They didn’t, Li. Someone knew this shit was here and how to access it — nobody just stumbled upon this.” Drake shook his head. “There's no fucking way.”

Liam stepped toward the bed and lifted the pillow to his face. He inhaled a deep breath and a floral fragrance invaded his senses and sparked some kind of recognition. “Do — do you think she was here?”

Just finished reading Here Comes the Sun and it's so good! I loved it so much! Was it your first series? And were you inspired by anyone? It reminds me of another series I've read on here that I now really want to reread but I can't remember what it was or who it was by, haha!

First of all, wow thank you so so much! 💕

To answer your questions:

1. It was my first ever series, and first fic longer than 2k words - big jump.

2. I had read some fics on here before writing (which you can find by searching my #ask tags and scrolling until you hit the reccs) but HCtS was completely based on my own experiences and ideas.

I've said this before, and I used to be really embarassed to admit it, but idc anymore: I wrote that fic after going through a really rough place in my life. I never planned on publishing it, and it really was just a comfort story to me - a way to cope. Teach is based on myself and my experiences - and how I'd like to think I'd navigate the world of TWD if I found myself in it.

(therefore if you ever see a character you think is a copy of Teach, then they're basically copying me lmao)

So yeah, that's the story of HCtS. At some point I started to visualise Teach as a seperate character, probably as I started posting my chapters on Tumblr, and realised I actually had an audience. But I never could have imagined it becoming as popular as it did, and getting support like this 💓

Sorry for the ramble, but I feel like I need to say thank you to everyone for reading and sending in comments like this. You all inspire me each and every day, and I can't thank you enough for being a part of my life. It has been a journey, and this blog has yet to hit it's year anniversary.

I think, overall, Brooke helped Jack not feel so alone and she also helped him control his powers at the beginning when he was still scared. She also softened Dean a bt in some regards since he grows so fond and protective of her.

HCtS Logan + snow annnnnnnd HNH or SC (you choose, or both?) + quarantine, maybe?

Wow, these were fun.

HCtS Logan and snow ... aren’t something that are together very often, because he prefers tropical vacations. BUT, he does remember one trip that he took with his parents and Juliet as a kid, and it sticks out to him, because he and Juliet got to go sledding for the first time.  They took a trip to upstate New York for a business meeting, and while Jim was busy meeting with clients, the kids - and their mom - spent the day outside in the snow. Not only was  there plenty of it on the ground, but it was coming down, too. And Logan can still remember the way the flakes looked as they landed on Juliet’s hair, or the way it felt on his mom’s gloves when she put her hands on the sides of his face to slow him down and tell him that he needed to take a couple minutes of rest. 

“You’re going to be exhausted, Logan.” She spoke calmly, but he could see the smile in her eyes. “You’ve been dragging that sled up and down the hill all day, let your sister have a turn.”  

The damp material was cold on his cheeks, but he didn’t care - and he knew that she was right, because he could feel the muscles in his legs aching already, but for a kid that had everything, the unexpected - and unpredictable - day was really important to him. 

HNH Billy quarantining wouldn’t be a good time for him. I think it would remind him too much of being on house arrest after getting out of the hospital while he waited for Matt and Foggy and Karen to help build his case. It wouldn’t be quite the same, because he wouldn’t be living in a state of constant apprehension about what happens next to him and what the outcome would be, but the whole “not being able to go wherever he wanted whenever he wanted would be really difficult for him. I think he’d try to take a lot of jobs just to get him out of the house, or spend extra time at the Anvil II facility, just because since they employ security, they’d bee deemed “essential”, but if he actually had to quarantine in an apartment or the Brownstone, it would be really different. 

Because Billy doesn’t like being idle ... so even though you would be working from home (on whatever jobs and events you were planning...if any) ... he’d be interrupting you a lot ... for reasons. 

Steel City Billy in quarantine wouldn’t be awful. He’s used to working long hours with few other people around, on spending days collecting intel and just observing. He doesn’t mind being alone and away from people - he doesn’t associate it with really anything but being in the Marines, so it’s doable. If he was in New York when it happened, he’d probably try to quarantine with Frank and Karen, just because he wouldn’t want to go weeks without seeing them in person - or knowing that they were OK. And since he and Frank are already used to being in close quarters for long periods of time, it would be simple. 

In no circumstances, though, would either of them want to quarantine away from Reader. They’d both enjoy the time with you all to themselves (or with a VERY small circle) but asking them to stay away from you for weeks? Nope.

YOU'RE STARTING A NEW SERIES AFTER HCTS ?!?!? wow i'm so excited. i'm going to miss teach and daryl so much, but i can't wait to see what you have planned for us !!

YES-- Obviously I have another 4 or so chapters of HCtS before I even start on the other one, but I really like the ideas I currently have for it.

I don't want to give too much away (because it is still only a basic draft atm), but it starts from S1 this time - and the reader briefly knows Daryl from before the apocolypse!

I think it's going to be hard for me to write a reader who isn't Teach at this point lmao- But I hope you'll all like it! <3 <3

Congrats on the milestone!! I know I say it a lot but my favourite fic of yours is definitely Appreciate It. It was one of the first fics I ever read for Logan and it has stuck with me ever since!

!!!! That one was so short and so simple and so ... THEM that I’m kinda mad that I haven’t written another Mr. and Mrs. Delos in Quarantine story, even though I’ve had so many other ideas  for them (specifically Logan trying to figure out how he can go back to work without putting them at risk, Logan FREAKING OUT because his wife wakes up one morning with a fever and a cough and he doesn’t understand HOW she got sick because she hasn’t left the house in months, and Mrs. Delos coordinating a get together for Emily, Juliet, Mark and the two of them as a surprise for Logan) I’m honored to be one of the first you read for him - I hope that you continue to read and to love him. I hope that you continue to reach out and say hi and let all of us know what you enjoy about our work.  But most of all, I hope you never stop drawing - because you bring something so special to these characters, too.
