How do people watch Kakashi say, TWICE, that one has to ‘fill the hole in their hearts’ and then turn around and act like he ONLY continues on because of his promise to Obito
Kakashi’s survival has nothing to do with Obito
His will to keep moving on and creating new bonds has nothing to do with Obito
This is a huge point where him and Obito are so completly different. Obito loses one precious person and breaks down. He turns against the world and starts to see more of the darkness. A darkness he wants to destroy
Kakashi loses precious person after precious person, yet never gives up
Never stops making friends
Never stops reaching out a hand and hoping for something better
Kakashi think that Obito and Minato and Naruto and so many others would be the best for the future because they would change things, but he’s the first on his team to try and actively change things by just changing himself
By being more than a mindless weapon for the village
Kakashi’s humanity has nothing to do with Obito because it’s not even something they share by the time they’re adult. Obito is happily murdering people he once cared about, while Kakashi is trying to make new friends and showing kindness to people who should be considered his enemy and nothing else
Fandom stop acting like everything Kakashi does is because of Obito when Obito doesn’t even do the things Kakashi does, because they are vastly different people
